The present examinations indicate that dolomite may be used as partial replacement of cement in concrete and quarry dust may be suitably replaced with fine aggregate in concrete to some extent.

Jun 01 2018 From the results it was observed that the flexural strength of concrete with 25 and 100 quarry dust were respectively 2 and 4.3 higher compared with concrete with no quarry dust. By carrying out regression analysis empirical formulas in the form y ax b were obtained for concrete with quarry dust. The equations were compared with formulas proposed by ACI BS IS codes of practice for estimating the flexural strength using the compressive strength of concrete.
Oct 30 2016 The compressive strength at room temperature of Q6535 was found to be 34.8 Nmm 2 and that of Q4535 was found to be 42.2 Nmm 2. The compressive strength is found to be increasing with decrease in coarse aggregate ratio. The increase in the compressive strength of quarry dust aggregate concrete of Q4535 is found to be 21 of strength of Q6535.
Objectives In the present study by-product of stone crushed quarry dust is replaced as a fine aggregate with 20 30 40 50 replacement.MethodsAnalysis The fine aggregate is being replaced with fine aggregate and the compressive strength is determined for the concrete by testing the sample cube. The properties such as the specific gravity fineness modulus moisture content etc.
This experimental study presents the variation in the strength of concrete when replacing sand by quarry dust from 0 to 100 in steps of 10. M20 and M25 grades of concrete were taken for study keeping a constant slump of 60mm. The compressive strength of concrete cubes at the age of 7 and 28 days were obtained at room temperature. Also the temperature effect on concrete cubes at 100 o
Quarry dust is formed by the quarrying of the crushed rock aggregates. The use of quarry dust in concrete is desirable as a useful disposal of a by-product reduction of river sand consumption and increase in strength. Quarry dust has different shaped particles like rough sharp and angular helps in better interlocking and to

From the compression test of the cubes at 7 days28 days and 56 days we can conclude that concrete having 50 of quarry dust and 16 of silica fume achieves optimum compressive strength. From the Slump test and Compaction Factor test all the concrete mixes achieved high workability but concrete having 40 QD and 16 SF showed highest workability.

Quarry dust has rough sharp and angular concrete were found to be 23.7 - 34.50 Nmm2 and 3.45 - particles and as such causes a gain in strength due to 6.40 Nmm2 respectively. better interlocking.
4. 5According to the value of compressive strength collected the value is high and it show that quarry dust suitable to use as sand replacement. All the value of compressive strength surpasses the minimum value of compressive strength for normal concrete that is 7Nmm . So quarry dust can apply as sand replacement in
Samples of concrete eg. cubes were made using varying contents of laterite and quarry dust as fine aggregate. The quantity of laterite was varied from 0 to 100 against quarry dust at intervals of 25. The samples were cured for specified periods and tested in the laboratory for compressive strength.
